LOBA UV-Protect in the parquet care system
An additive that reduces yellowing in light-coloured European wood species when used in approved LOBA water-based finishes.
Best suited for
Light-coloured European woods and a suitable topcoat, including where a 2K Contact system requires anti-yellowing protection.
Application rate / dilution
Maximum 2 % or 100 ml per 5 l/5 kg of finish.
Time
Use the 1K mixture within 24 hours; for 2K systems, the pot life of the base finish applies. Drying times remain those of the base system.
Correct role
How the product fits into the system.
Add just before use; with 2K only after mixing in the hardener. Use in each top coat increases the effect.

Product limitations
It does not prevent dark wood species from becoming lighter. The combination must be approved for the selected finish.
When this product is not enough
Care products cannot repair exposed or unstable wood.
If the old layer has worn through, is delaminating or is incompatible, check repairing factory-finished parquet or parquet sanding .
