LOBA 2K Duo in the parquet care system
A highly durable 2K water-based polyurethane finish and an additional approved topcoat for the 2K Contact system.
Best suited for
Residential and commercial wood floors; with 2K Contact, suitable factory UV-finished surfaces can be recoated without sanding the existing finish.
Application rate / dilution
100–120 ml(g)/m² per coat, equivalent to 8–10 m²/l(kg).
Time
Extra-matt is mixed 5 : 1; satin, semi-gloss and gloss 10 : 1. Pot life is 2 hours. The floor can be walked on carefully, sanded between coats or recoated after at least 4 hours; light use is permitted after 24 hours, and full use and covering after 5 days. Recoating without intermediate sanding is permitted within the first 24 hours; after that, sanding is mandatory.
Correct role
How the product fits into the system.
Use a non-gloss variant in the 2K Contact system. Recoating other old lacquer finishes requires CareRemover, neutralisation, complete drying and thorough intermediate sanding.

Product limitations
The 2K Contact TDS explicitly excludes a gloss finish for this system; an adhesion test is still mandatory.
When this product is not enough
Care products cannot repair exposed or unstable wood.
If the old layer has worn through, is delaminating or is incompatible, check repairing factory-finished parquet or parquet sanding .
