LOBA 2K Contact in the parquet care system
2-component water-based adhesion primer for recoating suitable factory-finished parquet without sanding off the old finish.
Best suited for
Industrially lacquered, factory-finished parquet, especially textured, brushed or chamfered surfaces where sanding would change the original geometry.
Application rate / dilution
About 10 g/m² with a LOBA spatula or 30 g/m² with a Microfibre 60–80 oil roller.
Time
Mixing ratio 2 : 1; pot life 2 hours; recoat no sooner than 2 hours and no later than 24 hours.
Correct role
How the product fits into the system.
Strip with CareRemover diluted 1 : 4 and a green pad; extract immediately with a wet vacuum, neutralise and allow to dry completely. Carry out an adhesion test, apply a thin coat of 2K Contact, then use a non-gloss version of 2K Supra A.T. or 2K Duo.

Product limitations
It is not a universal solution for every old finish. Unsound, delaminating or worn-through layers and unknown compatibility require testing or a different preparation method.
When this product is not enough
Care products cannot repair exposed or unstable wood.
If the old layer has worn through, is delaminating or is incompatible, check repairing factory-finished parquet or parquet sanding .
